A Brief Biblical history of Yisrael (Israel), the Yahudim and Jews
Yisrael is the name given to Jacob by YHWH (Yahweh) in Gen. 32:28, 35:10. The Name Yisrael also became associated with the descendants of the 12 sons of Jacob, and subsequently become the collective family group which formed the '12 Tribes of Yisrael.' Jacob was a son of Issac, who was a son of Abraham, to whom was given the promise that a great Nation would come from him. Abraham was a descendant of Shem, son of Noah, son of Seth, son of Adam. Yisraelites (Israelites) are also referred to, and called Shemites or Semites because of their direct descent from Shem.
Yisrael became a Nation under the leadership of Moses (son of Amram) after he (through YHWH (Yahweh)) delivered them from a time of bondage under Egypt (about 1240 BC), Ex. 3:2-18. Under the leadership of Yahshua (not the Messiah), Yisrael captured a land (about 1200 BC) that is now known as Palestine (or Holy Land) for their new home.
During 931-919 BC the Kingdom of Yisrael became divided into two Kingdoms. The Northern Kingdom under Jeroboam, including Simeon, Dan, Issachar, Zebulon, Joseph (Ephraim, Manasseh), Asher, Naphtali, Reuben, and half of Levi, continued under the name Yisrael. The Southern Kingdom under Rehoboam, including the tribes of Yahudah, Benjamin and half of Levi, became known as the Kingdom of Yahud, (after the name of the dominant tribe).
Because of the wickedness of Yisrael against YHWH (Yahweh), the Assyrians under Tiglath-Pileser II took part of Yisrael captive (the two tribes of Reuben and Gad, and half of Manasseh), who lived east of the Jordan, into Assyria around 745 BC (1 Chron. 5:26). Then, the rest of the Northern Kingdom of Yisrael (which was living in Samaria) was conquered by Sargon II, 725-721 BC, King of Assyria (2 Kings 17:5-23). At that same time 200,150 Yahudim were also taken captive into Assyria by Sennacherib, leaving only the capital Jerusalem occupied by the Yahudim (2 Kings 18:13).
In order for the Assyria King to protect his newly acquired territory, the Yisraelite inhabitants were replaced with foreign colonists (2 Kings 17:24) from his Kingdom. The inter-marriage of these people along with some of the remaining Yisraelites resulted in 'religious syncretism' (2 Kings 17:28-34) in the land formally occupied by the Northern Kingdom of Yisrael. Some of these Assyrian colonists came from an area called Sepharwayim and through time this mixture of people became known as Sephardim Yahudim (known as 'Samaritans' during Biblical times), because they were dwelling in Samaria. Since the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD, most Sephardim Yahudim migrated westward and have lived mostly in Spain. The modern people who refer to themselves as Sephardim Jews are not True Yisraelites because they do not descend from Shem, son of Noah. They are a mixed blood (mongrel) people group, of diverse origin and are not pure Shemites.
From their displacement in Northern Assyria, people from the Kingdom of Yisrael and part of the Kingdom of Yahud, eventually migrated up through the Caucasus Mountains and became known by the nations as Caucasians. Eventually they became known as the Jutes, Danes, Saxons, Angles, Vikings, Celts, and Normans. These True Yisraelites are the people who colonized parts of Russia, central and western Europe, Scandinavia, and the British Islands, taking up residence there (2 Sam. 7:10, Amos 9:9, 14-15). They established the western European Anglo-Saxon-Celtic 'Caucasian' white nations. True Yisrael (Israel) of the Diaspora is known as Celto-Saxon Yisrael. Eventually resulting in the formation of the Great (Messianic) Nations of Europe, Scandinavia, and the British Islands.
True Yisrael will never return to the land area called Palestine, because YHWH (Yahweh) promised a new place, II Sam. 7:10, and because the dispersed True Israelite people are now an innumerable population, and could never again fit in the old land, a fulfillment of YHWH (Yahweh)'s promise to Yisrael's Patriarch Abraham, Gen. 13:16. True Yisrael is a nation about 3250-3300 years old, now formed of a people dispersed throughout the countries of the globe. True Yisrael is a Nation dwelling within the Nations. They are truly the lost sheep of the 'House of Yisrael' (Matt. 10:6; 15:24), and are referred to as 'Yisrael of the Diaspora'.
As the tribes of Yisrael migrated through the Caucasus, they influenced many of the local people groups, among those were the people of the Country of the Khazars, a people of Turkish (Japheth) ancestry. No longer having an organized religious priesthood, a nation, or national identity, the migrating tribes of Yisrael nevertheless passed on bits and pieces of Yahwism, which was corrupted through their many years of captivity in pagan Assyria. This form of Yahwism was embraced by the Khazar King, his court, and the Khazar military class, who were looking for a new religion. In turn the Khazars added to this form of Yahwism, which became the religion of the Khazars and exists today as cultic Jew-dah-ism, or Jewism. Some refer to this form of Jew-dah-ism as 'Talmudic Pharisaism' because of the current influence and the blending of the pagan 'Talmud'.
Khazars holding to this form of Jew-dah-ism became known as the Ashkena-zim Jew. In common parlance, the present day 'Jew' is synonymous with 'the Ashkenazi Jew'. Scripture refers to the Ashkenaz in Gen. 10:3, and in 1 Chron. 1:6, as one of the sons of Gomer, who was a son of Japheth, son of Noah. Ashkenaz is also a brother of Togarmah (and a nephew of Magog) who the Khazars, according to the King Joseph of the Khazars, claimed as their ancestor. The people who refer to themselves as Ashkenazi Jews are not True Yisraelites (Israelites), and they are not Semites because they do not descend from Noah's son Shem, instead they descend from Noah's son Japheth. The Jew is not an Yisraelite of the Bible, but a religious imposter.
In 604 BC King Nebuchadnezzar invaded Jerusalem because of their wickedness against YHWH (Yahweh), taking captive the remaining Yahudim into Babylon (Jer. 24:1, 2 Kings 24:11-16). Many Edomites infiltrated the Kingdom of Yahud and Samaria from their country 'Idumea' (which was lying south of Yahud and Samaria) when the land became vacated by the Yahudim and Yisrael. Some 42,360 Yahudahites returned to Jerusalem after 70 years, as foretold by Jeremiah (Jer. 29:10) under Nehemiah and Ezra. Many had violated YHWH (Yahweh)'s Law by intermarriage with non-Yisraelite people. The Yahudim of mixed blood and the Edomites dwelt toward the south in Judah (Ezra 9:1-2), while those who kept themselves separate, racially and spiritually pure, Yahudim, dwelt towards the north in Galilee (Neh. 7:5-61).
From the Yahudi and Benjamites of racially and spiritually pure blood (Matt. 1:1-17), through the descendant of his parents, came the birth of Yisrael's promised King, Yahshua, the Messiah. The 12 Apostles were sent to proclaim the Kingdom of Heaven to the lost sheep of the 'House of Yisrael' by Yahshua (Matt. 10:1-7).
